FULL DAY MEDIATION FEES
$1,500.00 per party. The mediation fee includes lunch, drinks, snacks and free parking.
A full day mediation commences at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m.

HALF DAY MEDIATION FEES
$750.00 per party. The mediation fee includes drinks, snacks and free parking.
Morning sessions commence at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. Afternoon sessions commence at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. Evening mediations commence at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 9:00 p.m.

 

All parties represented by one lawyer or firm are deemed one “party” for purposes of the mediation fee.

 

Please note that in complex cases or multiple party cases where a substantial amount of preparation time is necessary, additional fees may be proposed. Please contact our office directly to discuss additional fees associated with mediations conducted out of Houston.

MEDIATION FEES AND ARBITRATION

In relation to arbitration, fees may be charged on a per party basis or  hourly increments pertaining to the time spent on preparation/research and formal hearing.  In regard to the latter, standard daily charges are per day, per party for preparation/research and $2,250.00 - $3,000.00 per day, per party attributed to a formal hearing. 

 

I welcome the opportunity to travel to destinations outside of Houston, Texas to mediate or arbitrate claims and cases, my existing schedule permitting.  Under such circumstances, the mediation or arbitration rate shall be 150% of my standard rate for a full day mediation per party.  In addition, I will be reimbursed any transportation, lodging and meal expenses incurred during the course of my travels to and from the mediation or arbitration. Such expenses will be borne by each party on a pro-rata basis unless alternative arrangements are made in advance of the mediation or arbitration. Copies of my expenses shall be provided to all counsel of record within two weeks of the conclusion of the mediation or arbitration, with the expectation that such expenses shall be reimbursed to my firm within 30 days thereafter.
